Would you like to become completely confident with lighting in the studio? Then this course is for you!! Learn how to use Studio lights for Portraits, Style, Fashion and more..

The course is Strictly limited to 6 participants so that everyone has a chance to learn thoroughly and  participants will also get a chance to shoot with a model on Day 2.

Course Details: 2 Days
Day 1: Saturday 15th February 2025

Day 2: Sunday 16th February 2025

Times: 9.00am to 17.30pm

Day1: Introduction to Studio Lighting
Suitable for Complete beginners or those with some experience. Studio Lighting covering, Safety, Understanding the equipment, Basic set-ups, F-Stops etc. This will be a great grounding for working with Studio Lighting.
Day 2: Building your knowledge of Studio Lighting.
Working with more advanced set-ups, Controlling multiple lights, Working with a model in the studio – we will have a model for a good part of the day.

THIS COURSE WILL BE VERY HANDS-ON WITH PARTICIPANTS SETTING-UP AND SHOOTING A LOT.

We will cover:

• Safety in the Studio
• The anatomy and workings of a Studio light
• Using a Light meter
• Modifiers for the lighting heads
• 1 Light set-ups
• 2, 3, and 4 Light set-ups
• Using reflectors
• Understanding how light works
• Hard light/Soft light
• Working with a model and directing them
• And much, much more…
